A few steps

Callum had a period this morning when he was getting up and walking a few steps, falling, then doing it all again. I only got a few on video before he became discouraged.

    ahhhh…walking, I just can’t believe it! He’s such a doll!!!

    This is actually kind of a bad example because he falls so quickly but it was the only one I got on video. He’s having longer and longer spells where walking is actually successful, though he does get discourages when he continually loses his balance. Wood floors probably don’t help in that regard.

    sure he wouldn’t do better with a soccer ball in front of him?

    His most favorite thing now is to walk along holding both my hands. He prefers this to walking on his own and throws a fit when I won’t walk along with him. Anyway, when he’s got both of his hands occupied this way, he is forced to use his feet for manipulating objects like…. you got it… soccer balls. It’s good training!
